I recently watched a documentary about Dubai and it’s city. I must admit that it’s a very nice country to be but due to the hot day there I rather stay in my country better.
Ya, I can ski and play snows in the mall. It’s like a fridge inside.

I like it… especially the part where you contrast the conflict between modern and tradition. Dubai seems like a Singapore to me, not entirely, but in it’s loss of identity. Perhaps modernization means the normalization of all cultures. We’ll have to see, which is something only more travels would reveal.
