Creative Vado: Pocket Video Cam

Here at Fortylove.tv, we hardly have time for heavy-hitting tech reviews. We’re just two regular travellers who are constantly on the go across countries and continents. Between us we have used enough video cameras (except the types you might shoot a feature film with) and know what we want in a video camera when we travel.
Which is, portability. Portability which does not compromise on quality, or skimp on the important bits.
The Creative Vado remains our clear favourite in the ‘pocket cam’ department, and we’ve used everything we could find in this category. It’s small and light, as a pocket cam should be. Every video we’ve shot with it has been sharp and with great colours and good audio for its class. It’s so easy to use that it’s become the default birthday and Christmas gift of choice in my family, since everyone loves to capture treasured moments in video, and the Vado makes it fun and easy to do so. The battery lasts two hours and you can share videos to YouTube easily.
