Fortylove.tv is an account of May and Adrianna’s travels out of London and Dubai to Europe, the Middle East, India and everywhere else in between.
Forty videos, two friends. Singaporean photojournalist Adrianna Tan and Malaysian communications expert May Yee spent August 2008 – August 2009 living and playing out of Dubai and London respectively. On weekends, they (separately) travelled around the Middle East and Europe in search of the next great adventure, often thrusting themselves head-long into some great untold story, video cameras in tow.
With this footage they sat down to create an online travel video show, Fortylove.tv; free to watch and download, on the site, on YouTube, on iTunes, your iPod or iPhone or other media player, in your RSS reader — forever.
It’s an open invitation to join them as they check out wrestling and camel racing in the United Arab Emirates, learn to cook salta in Sana’a, gaze into the future with Turkish coffee cup fortune-tellers and hang out with London bartenders and roller derby girls, through the forty short videos sent through fortylove.tv as video postcards to each other in forty takes, back and forth. Part travelogue, part video-cast, part excuse to hang out with interesting people/travel even more, fortylove.tv aims to bring you to places even a guidebook won’t.
The best part? All these videos are shot with low end technology… mobile phones, handheld consumer cameras, digital cameras and whatever they happen to have. It’s an experiment in mobile film-making, guerrilla style — the better to remain true to the real travel experience.

Who are you?
We are Adrianna Tan and May Yee, originally from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur respectively. We lived in Dubai and London for some time. Now we’re back in Southeast Asia, but still travelling madly.
Why do you travel so much?
